Dainika is an independent digital newsroom headquartered in India. Our name comes from the Hindi word “dainik”—daily—reflecting our commitment to deliver timely, reliable information every single day. Founded by Shwetank Singh, Dainika blends traditional reporting values with modern storytelling tools to bring you news that informs, inspires and empowers.

We believe quality journalism is a public service. Our mission is to:

How we work

• Verification first: We require two independent sources for every contentious fact. Visuals are authenticated through reverse‑image tools and geolocation.
• Data‑driven: Interactive charts are compiled from publicly available datasets or RTI requests, with the raw data linked whenever possible.
